The Hot Moms Club along with Downy and Swiffer and the THE EMPIRE HOTEL hosted the after party at The Gate, (290 8th Avenue) a posh private party space on Monday evening, June 8th directly after her debut performance.

The Cast of Chicago, and friends including a VERY pregnant Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty) munched on mini cupcakes, from Baked by Melissa and brownies, blondies and cookies from the Protein Bakery martini glasses were filled with personalized red and silver M&M’s.  And guests had their choices of a variety of Barefoot Wine and Cocktails like “Mama Morton Mojitos”  from Roses Mojito and Marani Vodka. Ooba beverages provided a non alcoholic version.

We’ve loved Chandra on the hit show Grey’s Anatomy, and feel so fortunate we were able to work with her and host the after party for debut on Broadway’s razzle dazzle hit Chicago.  Chandra was an absolutely pleasure to work with, she was warm and kind and so incredibly gracious.  The cast loves her, and clearly the audience and critics do to as she takes her month long turn in the Broadway smash as “Mama” Morton.    Chandra is no stranger to Broadway, she has appeared in Avenue Q and On the Town.  Fellow castmates T.R Knight, Sara Ramirez and James Pickens Jr attending the performance and cheered her on.
