For her fans, Adele might be perfect (because let’s face it, she is. I mean, look at that face and that voice!) but apparently there’s one thing in her life that she hasn’t mastered yet, and it’s motherhood. The “Hello” chart topper recently admitted that motherhood is “f—king hard” and the most difficult experience she’s ever had in her life.
Can I just get an amen to that?!?
Adele and her husband Simon Konecki are the proud parents of their 3-year-old son, Angelo. According to the Huffington Post, here’s what she says:
“It’s fucking hard. I thought it would be easy. ‘Everyone fucking does it, how hard can it be?’ Ohhhhh … I had no idea. It is hard but it’s phenomenal. It’s the greatest thing I ever did. He makes me be a dickhead, and he makes me feel young and there’s nothing more grounding than a kid kicking off and refusing to do what you’re asking of them. It used to be that my own world revolved around me, but now it has to revolve around him.”
And I have to tell you, I agree with her 100 percent. As much as I love my children, they keep me on my feet around the clock. I’ve never felt love or mom guilt as hard as I have with them, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
But I do have to say that the youngest years are the easiest. I truly believe in the saying that small children equal small problems and big children equal big problems. Sorry Adele, but it gets even harder!!!
