Jackson Taylor is what we would call an absolute miracle that the 16-month-old is alive and moving around! After an awful car accident the Australian toddler was left internally decapitated. He went under for a six-hour surgery and he’s expected to make a full recovery! What is more incredible is to understand that the boy’s head was separated from his neck and he’s expected to walk, climb, run, and do all of the crazy things that toddlers do!

The only reason this was fixed during surgery was that his spinal cord remained unharmed despite the severity of the rest of his injuries. "A lot of children wouldn't survive that injury in the first place," his spinal surgeon Geoff Askin said."And if they did and they were resuscitated then they may never move or breathe again." Dr. Askin and his team were able to reattach Jackson's vertebrae using wire and a piece of the boy's rib.

He will have to wear a halo for the next few months so the tissues and nerves connecting his head and spine to heal. But other then that this little toddler is in full recovery mode! How incredible is this..
