Are You Obsessed About Posting Status Updates On Facebook? Well Now There’s An App For That

Here’s a confession: I’m not a huge fan of social media. Even though I’m guilty of over over-updating, over-sharing and spending waaaaay too much time on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter I’ve tried my best to put my phone down, turn off my computer and cut down in recent weeks. I mean there’s life to live offline too, right?

Well, for those who still love to keep their friends and family updated on all of their daily activities, I’ve got news for you: there is a new app that will generate a witty, clever status up just for you. YES now the apps we use on our phones know us so well that they are able to think up of things before we even say them out loud. I’m not sure if I’m impressed… or scared. Ha!

A site called What Would I Say will help you think up of a status perhaps more eloquently then you’d think and then automatically post in on your Facebook page for you. And let’s not lie here, I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who have deleted, edited and maybe re-edited status updates in the past just so they sound original and funny enough to get as much likes as possible (Did I just write that sentence myself? Or was it my status generator? What year do we live in again?).

Honestly, I won’t be using the app. Like I’ve said, I’ve tried my best to cut down on social media to live a more private life that doesn’t involve posting 144 pictures of my latest summer vacation online. But tell us Hot Moms, what do you think? Are we going a little overboard on trying to look and sound perfect on Facebook? But I guess if you’re looking for a good laugh, it’s worth a try, right?
