Little Boy Forced To Give Up Buzz Lightyear Toy Because TSA Said It Resembled A Weapon

OMG, before you know it children won’t be able to bring their toys on planes anymore! A 5-year-old had his Buzz Lightyear toy confiscated before boarding a plane because TSA officials said it looked to much like a weapon at Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Talk about putting a horrible end to what I’m sure was a great trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Toy Story fan Levi Zilka was on his way home from Disney World to Pennsylvania when airport security threw away his Buzz Lightyear flip grip toy in the trash.

“Once he realized what was happening and they weren’t giving his toy back, he immediately starts bawling, just tears streaming down his face. It was all I could to not to break down with him in that moment,” the boy’s father said according to CBS Philadelphia.

Aww, how sad! But because I’m a firm believer that the Toy Story characters ARE real (I’ve watched the movies one too many times), a little part of me thinks that Buzz Lightyear will soon make his way back to Levi’s arms. It can happen, people. Just close your eyes and think real hard.
