Getting kids to eat breakfast can be challenging! Try a few different options such as a Breakfast Popsicle.. It is nice and cold and filled with lots of nutrients…
You need a high speed blender ( amount of popsicles depends on size of popsicle holder)
1. 1 Cup of Yogurt: vanilla, plain or you can have a fruit flavor ( greek yogurt, coconut yogurt your choice). You may use coconut water or almond milk but for breakfast you will want a little more substance.
2. Cut up your children’s favorite fruit ( cut them thin or for berries smash them up ). Black berries, strawberries, pineapples, peaches, banana, mango, kiwi etc… cut them thin
3. 1 cup of granola or oats
4. 1/4 cup of chia ( you can add a nut instead of this almonds, walnuts, pecans)
5. 2tbs cup of flax seeds
