Carrie Underwood Says This Is The Secret To Her Post Baby Flat Tummy

Carrie Underwood welcomed son Isaiah 10 months ago and the country superstar is sharing her tips to a flat belly in this month’s Shape Magazine. Carrie, who says “I will take any type of workout I can get, whenever I can get it,” was obviously in great shape before she got pregnant, but like most of us has discovered that carbs can be her downfall when it comes to bloating and having a bit of a belly. That’s why she says her secret to a flat tummy is to not have any carbs in the evening.

“I’m vegan and I love bread, but recently, I started making dinner a breadless meal. I’ll have a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and I’ll make a sandwich on Ezekiel bread for lunch, but in the evening I’ll have protein and vegetables and no bread. When I wake up, my belly is flat!”

I really believe that there’s something to her theory too. I’ve recently been cutting out a lot of the carbs from my diet and I’ve noticed that a lot of my belly bloat, which I hate more than any other part of my body, is significantly less. Like Carrie I love bread too, but I’ve had to learn to cut way down and eat it earlier in the day to help keep the weight off.

Of course Carrie was super active before and during her pregnancy which helped her get back her body after baby, but since she had a c-section she had to take things slowly.
