Dolls With Disabilities Are Now Available

It’s taken some time, but it looks like we finally have dolls that represent REAL girls. Barbie has some real competition here as more and more toy makers have finally realized that kids want to play with dolls that better represent them. In other words, our children are no longer interested in the long blonde hair, the 18-inch waists and pink high heels. Sorry, Barbs.

Instead, little girls in particular want to play with dolls that look just like them – with their scars, their flaws, their band-aids and their reading glasses. And it looks like their prayers have been answered, thanks to a British company called Makies.
