Fairy Bread Is The New Birthday Cake ~ Pass The Butter

Well this sure looks different. In an age in which everyone is trying to out-do each other with their amazingly creative and sometimes even life-life birthday cakes, this will get you scratching your head. Apparently, “fairy bread” is making major waves on Pinterest as it is not only being dubbed the new birthday cake, but as also a sugary sweet dessert that you can have as a snack at home with your kids.

It looks easy enough: you take a slice of white bread, slather butter on it and then toss sprinkles on top. I’ve personally never tried it, but it definitely has me intrigued.

It’s supposedly a huge hit in countries like Australia and New Zealand and while it doesn’t sound very healthy, I don’t think it’s any worse than eating a cupcake or banana split sundae.

Here are some of just a few variations of Fairy Bread below (there’s even a Fairy Bread milkshake you guys!!!!). Check it out and let us know what you think!
