I’m a hugger. I hug when I’m happy, I hug when I’m excited, I hug when I’m upset. There’s just something in my chemical makeup in which I feel the need to squeeze (someone) tightly in my arms as a way of expressing affection. Embrace, cuddle, bear hug, clasp, hold, clinch, whatever you want to call it, but if I like you, there’s a good chance that I’ll hug you in one way or another. And that’s why I’m sitting here literally flipping out over this hugging sofa. The innovative piece of furniture was created for the A’Design Awards and, according to designer Eun Kyoung Lee, “it will hold you warm and soft like your mother, friend, and a lover.” OMG.
