A 16 Year Old With A Rare Skin Disease Is Hopeful A New Treatment Will Make A Difference In His Life

Jonathan Pitre isn't like most teenagers. The 16 year old Ottawa boy, known to those in his city as the 'Butterfly Boy', suffers from a rare form of the skin disease called Epidermolysis bullosa, which results in painful blisters that form all over his body, equivalent to third degree burns.Jonathan and his mom Tina Boileau are travelling to Minnesota to receive a blood and bone marrow transplant in hopes that it will improve his quality of life.  While the procedure comes with a high reward, the risk is also high. The procedure could be fatal.[ad type="aboveimagead1"]
