Haven't had time to see many movies that aren't animated this year? This hand video shows you all you need to know in less than 4 minutes.
I love movies. I love everything about going to see movies from the super fattening movie theatre popcorn to the battle over the armrest with the stranger beside you to watching all the coming attractions and deciding which one I must see. My new year’s resolution for 2016 was to see more movies, and so far I’ve done pretty well, especially now that all my kids are in school full time and I work from home so I have the luxury of going during the day.
I do remember though when the only movies I’d see in a year was the latest animated hit because that was the only movie my entire family would want to see. Every year I’d watch The Oscars on television and try to make an educated guess on what movie should win best picture and what actor or actress should take home the big awards based solely on what I’d hear or read online. Chances are you probably haven’t had a lot of time to get to the movies either this year (unless it was The Good Dinosaur or Minions) but you’re still probably going to sit down on February 28th and watch The Academy Awards just to see what movie will win the big prize.
If you haven’t had a chance to get to the theatres much this year, Digg put together a very handy quick video outlining the plots of all the movies nominated for Best Picture this year, so even if you haven’t seen a lot of these movies, you can impress your friends and family by pretending to know what they’re are all about.
In case you haven’t had much time to get to the theatres this year, here’s the plot of each ‘Best Picture’ nominee in under 4 minutes.
