Longer parental leave is a necessity
Ali Dodd and Amber Scorah are two moms from different parts of the country. They didn’t know each other at all. Under normal circumstances, the two were so different, they probably never would have met, let alone become friends.
One is from Oklahoma, and a Republican. The other is from Brooklyn, unmarried and Liberal.
Two completely different upbringings, mindsets and political views. But something they could never possibly dream of happened to unite them.
Two women are fighting for better access to parental leave, fueled by the anger they had to leave their kids in daycare, where they died.
