After Their Daughter Was Paralyzed At 4 Months One Family Found A DIY Wheelchair On Pinterest

Kim Moore says she had to install a speed bump in her living room because her 13-month-old daughter Evelyn Moore was going that fast in her handcrafted wheelchair.Diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma at the age of just 4 months, Evelyn was paralyzed by the cancer from the arms down. Doctors told her parents she would fit in a wheelchair around the age of 2 but her parents decided they wanted to help her get mobile before that, and Kim turned to Pinterest for inspiration.[ad type="aboveimagead1"]
