No one expected him to survive but he suprised them all!

The birth of a baby with Down Syndrome is the result of a chromosomal problem.

When others have learned that their child has Down syndrome, they may have experienced a range of emotions, including anger, fear, worry, sorrow and guilt and their ability to care for a baby with a disability.

When Kenny Cridge and his twin sister Dorothy were born in 1940, not much was known about Down Syndrome and the life expectancy of someone born with it was just 12 years.

Thanks to the love of family and friends, Kenny Cridge not only beat the odds, but is now the oldest living man with Down Syndrome, having just celebrated his 76th birthday!
