For most of us, when we hear the words “drug addict,” a typical image pops up in our mind. I’m sure one just popped up in yours.
Maybe it’s the rich and famous actor or musician, or maybe it’s the strung-out junkie looking to score their next fix any way possible. I bet it’s not the local mom on the PTA that you wait in the car line with every day. Probably not.
However, that reality is more common that you may think it is, and one woman is opening up about her crippling addiction to let people know that drugs and addiction don’t discriminate.
