Such a great idea!
Every single person I know has played “Where’s Waldo?” at some point in time. I can remember sitting with my kids and looking at one of their books, thinking it would be so easy, and spending a lot longer than I should have trying to find the bespectacled character in the striped hat and shirt.
For a child who has to spend time in a hospital, playing a game of “Where’s Waldo” while looking at a picture book is a great way to pass the time, but it’s not nearly as fun as playing it for real, which is exactly what one construction worker made possible for kids at Memorial Children’s Hospital in South Bend, Indiana.
One construction worker in Indiana created a life size cut out of Where’s Waldo and hides it around his construction site so kids in the neighboring hospital can really play the game.
