Did you know it’s illegal…For a mother to give her daughter a perm without a state license in Nebraska? To wear transparent clothing in Providence, Rhode Island? To use a lasso to catch a fish in Tennessee? To tie a giraffe to a telephone pole in Vermont?Guess what’s perfectly legal though? Corporal punishment in schools - in 19 states. That’s right, folks: educators can give your kid a whuppin’ for misbehaving in an effort to curb a child’s poor behavior and use them as an example for other students.
