Homeschool Kids Are Now Testing Higher On The SAT’s Than Ever Before

A case for homeschooling.

While there are definite things I love and hate about my children’s schedule (hello free time for mom, even if it only ends up being 15 minutes a day after I get all my sh*t done), I appreciate all the work their teachers and school administrators do to ensure not only their education, but their safety while making sure they thrive both academically and socially.

Sure, getting up at the crack of dawn kicks my ass everyday, but even with my college degree I don’t think I could ever homeschool my children. I just don’t have enough self-confidence in myself to know that I am giving my children the well-rounded education they need and deserve.

Yet, there’s a new study that says homeschooling students are scoring much higher on their test scores than traditionally-educated kids. How are they doing it?

Is it time to drop the traditional schooling system?
