When overtime pay just isn’t an option.
Here’s something I’m sure a lot of people can agree on without argument: being a parent is hard work. Regardless of whether you’re a stay-at-home parent, a stay-at-home working parent, or a parent that works outside of the home, there are always dishes that need to be put away, laundry that needs to be folded, kids that need to be bathed, and a living room that needs to be picked up. We don’t stop. We don’t have the luxury of clocking out when our shift ends. In fact, our shifts never end because it’s a 24 hour job that is so demanding, that it’s no wonder that many people call us supermoms.
That’s why one loving tribute written by husband and father is making the internet rounds as he’s put into words what we think about and do everyday.
Scott Douglas wrote an ode to his wife who is a stay-at-home mom.
