When it comes to being pregnant and fit, it looks like everyone has all sorts of opinions on what women should and shouldn’t do when they are carrying a life inside of them. While I’m all for keeping in shape and eating healthy, I also think moderation is the key. No pregnancy is 100 percent safe no matter how careful and cautious we try to be.
Yet, Jodie Wick of Cambridgeshire, England is getting a lot of flack for her plans to run a Race for Life 10K next month. On the day of the race she’ll be about five weeks from her due date and she doesn’t plan on slowing down. In fact, she says she plans on tackling the race in under two hours, too.
Many critics can’t help but wonder: is the challenge really worth risking your health for?
