Do kids really need a “productivity makeover?”
Just like most parents out there, I get on my children’s cases almost everyday when it comes to doing their homework, cleaning up their rooms and getting ready for school the next day. Sometimes I feel like I’m talking to the dog because he looks like he’s listening to me more than my kids, but at the end of the day I make sure they get their work done – no matter what it takes.
Yet, it looks like more and more parents these days are needing outside intervention to get their kids to learn a little responsibility. Apparently you can help your children stop procrastinating, get organized and be more productive. Added benefits can be lowered anxiety and more time for fun, according to Susan Micari, a productivity coach for kids, who recently appeared on the Today Show.
