Why in the world don’t we have this in the United States yet?!?!
This week China is celebrating ‘Singles Day,’ which is ultimately the biggest shopping day in the country, kind of like our Black Friday in the United States. For those not in the know, Singles Day is held every year on November 11 and while it was originally a day of celebration for China’s single population, online retail giant Alibaba (think Amazon) turned it into a shopping bonanza back in 2009.
And while a lot of women, wives and girlfriends are shopping their hearts out on this very festive holiday, there’s no doubt that there’s also a good number of men, husbands and boyfriends who are tagging along, hesitantly, too. That’s why a number of shopping malls in China are making special arrangements for those that are less likely to be as enthusiastic about shopping by doing this. It’s purely genius if you ask me!
There are Chinese malls now where wives can drop off their husbands in nurseries.
