Do we really need to label our kids this way?

As grown women, we’re very aware of the different sizing options available to us. There are ‘plus size’ stores if you’re a certain size, ‘curvy fit’ jeans or ‘skinny jeans’ and any number of clothing labels for whatever size you are.

We might not always love the way our clothes are labeled and marketed to us, but we’ve grown to accept it over time. However one mom recently noticed on a popular clothing store for kids that they had labeled children’s clothing as ‘plus’ and ‘slim’ and she’s not happy about it at all.

Is it too early to start labeling our kid's clothes?
