The details are disturbing.
It’s a scene we’ve all performed probably hundreds of times in our lives — loading up the baby after getting a few items at the store. We are probably thinking about how the baby needs a nap or what we are going to fix for lunch or that sound the car has been making you want to get checked out while we fasten the car seat buckles and lift grocery bags.
We probably have had a million things on our minds, as most moms do, multi-tasking for every minute of our lives. But we probably weren’t thinking about getting attacked or the possibility that going to pick up a few essentials from a Wal-Mart could ever lead to death.
But apparently, maybe we should be.
