There is NO excuse for this type of behavior!

“For sale: baby shoes, never worn,” is a famous, and very sad, six-word novel attributed to Ernest Hemingway, about parents who have suffered a miscarriage and are selling their unborn child’s clothing. In just six words, the author evokes the pain and tragic loss of losing a child, making it relatable to those who have never been faced with such a horrible experience.

Jessica Hunchko, a Connecticut mother of three was living Mr. Hemingway’s dramatic flash fiction piece after suffering a miscarriage and being left with baby gear that was intended for their lost baby. Understandably, she wanted to get it out of her sight, but when she tried to return the big box items to her local Babies “R” Us, her nightmare was intensified.
