Parents Are Saying “NO WAY” to a Controversial Party Theme Girls are Asking For

Whenever I attend a kids’ birthday party with one of my children, I’ll admit that I don’t always feel comfortable when there’s alcohol being served, especially before noon! Call me old fashioned, but I do believe that when children are present, the focus should really be on them. I mean, sure there’s nothing wrong with a good class of wine or a mimosa, but there’s a time and place for everything and when kids and parents get together to celebrate a party, but I just think that we can wait until the 2-3 hours that’s dedicated to the birthday party is over before busting out a bottle of the good stuff. That’s why one mother in particular was left absolutely infuriated when her 12-year-old daughter was invited to THIS kind of birthday party and honestly, I can’t imagine why anyone would come up with such a theme. Not only would I decline the invitation, but I also can’t help but wonder why anyone would think this is a good idea.
