Absolutely devastating

For all of those helicopter parents out there, man do we have a story for you. I mean, I can understand being paranoid about our children’s safety sometimes, but story here is definitely going to make me second guess some of the decisions I make, especially when it comes to leaving my children in the care of others.

For many parents, dropping off their kids at their friend’s birthday parties is almost a relief, especially when they are at an age in which they don’t need their parents to be by their side on a 24 hour basis. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love watching my kids, but after having attended more birthday parties that I can remember, there’s only so much small talk with other parents and birthday cake that I can take!

But I’m sure the parents of 11-year-old Azriel Estabrooks never in a million years would have imagined seeing this happen dropping off their daughter at a friend’s house. And that’s why they are suing the hosts of the birthday party for their daughter’s untimely death.
