What?!

What should have been a fun end of year class party for one third grader turned in to something traumatic after police were called to the school. After one student accused another of making a racist comment, instead of having school administrators and teachers deal with the incident themselves, police were called and the child was questioned.

However, while many are blaming the school for blowing things out of proportion and calling police to deal with a matter that could have easily been dealt with at the principal’s office, administrators are blaming a new directive for the procedure.
