Should You Worry About Child Abductions By Strangers?

Child abductions. It just sounds so terrifying saying, right? It’s every parent’s worst nightmare but unfortunately a fact of life, too. In fact, the other weekend my family and I were shopping at a department store and were caught off guard by the simultaneous ringing and buzzing phones around us. It was an Amber Alert and it was so chilling knowing that a mother and father were actively going through what could only be described as a nightmare situation.Yet, there are new statistics available that should give parents a piece of mind, as the chances of your child being abducted by a stranger isn’t what it used to be. Still, should that give parents a reason to sigh in relief? Not necessarily.
