Oh, childbirth. It’s one of the most beautiful, memorable, special and life-changing events every mother goes through, if not the most blood sucking, toe curling, where-the-hell-is-the-epidural pain you’ll ever experience.

And that’s why these confessions by moms who have done it all, seen it all, and felt it all are not only incredibly (and painfully) accurate, but hilarious at the same time, too. But what makes it all worth it is the sunshine-after-a-storm moment you get when you hold your baby in your arms for the first time, right? I remember one nurse telling me that the most amazing thing about childbirth is that you forget about the pain almost instantly. And in some ways, she was right. I was screaming in pain but was quickly shocked and stunned the moment I laid eyes on my baby the first moment I saw her.
