Happy Meal, Happy Fortune
I don’t take my kids to McDonald’s very often, but when I do, it’s mostly because they want the Happy Meal toy of the week, that usually coincides with whatever animated movie happens to be playing in the theaters that month (like all the Minions figurines we collected last summer or the Angry Birds they’ve been asking for this year).
And while I’m no fan of hoarding and end up tossing or donating the toys they don’t play with anymore, I’m going to have to be very careful with what stays and what goes from now on.
There’s a new report that says those little plastic figurines are worth a lot of money, you guys. And I’m not talking pocket change here, either.
Thinking of throwing away all of those Happy Meal toys your kids have been collecting? Think again.
