These Politicians Are Pretending To Be Pregnant For A Pretty Awesome Reason

There have been times in my life when I have wished that my husband could, just for one second, experience what it is like to be pregnant. To try to get through the day with morning sickness, to try to soldier on when you’re actually sick with the flu and have to take care of the little kids at home, to be so physically uncomfortable that even breathing in your own body is painful.Sometimes, it seems like almost a cruel joke that women have to do so much. We bleed every month, we grow human beings, we push those humans out of our bodies, we endure miscarriages and losses and carry the literal weight of the world within us -- all while men really have no idea what’s going on. I honestly wonder how the world would change if men could experience what we do for even one day in their lives.
