This Hot Mom Posts Pregnant Ileostomy Selfies to Empower People to Love Their Scars
We have seen it before where moms are posting selfies from their c-sections and showing that their perfectly, imperfect bodies are beautiful.
We watch moms bounce around showing how much exercise they are getting while pregnant, or just flauting their bumps!
Not often do we see a mom with Crohn’s sharing their Posts Pregnant Ileostomy photos. “Our scars and our ostomies are our battle wounds we should be wearing with pride.”
There are stories like these that are floating around and need the support!
I’m 23 and pregnant with my first Baby I am 15 weeks so due 5-210-2005, I’m so excited and happy to be pregnant, I have been Ill since I was 15 with ulcerative colitis which is a form of crohns disease, I was on up to 20 tablets a day which weren’t really working so in 2010 at the age of 20 I decided to have my large colon removed which resulted in me having an ileostomy (bag on belly), this is the best decision that I have ever made iv never felt so well
“I believe these ‘invisible’ illnesses shouldn’t be hidden and we need to talk about it more.” — thank you for raising awareness
