Some people have a lot of nerve
As parents we’re all used to family, friends and even strangers offering their unsolicited advice over how we parent our kids. Heck, we’ve probably offered our own unsolicited advice to another mother on an occasion or two (you know you have).
But there’s a very definitive line that is drawn between offering up unsolicited advice on whether you should be buying full fat or low fat milk vs someone blatantly telling you you’re a bad mother because of how you let your children express themselves.
#Momshaming is real and it’s out of control, especially when someone is telling you that you should be ashamed of yourself for simply allowing your child to dress a certain way.
One mom wrote a now viral open letter to the woman who criticized her for letting her son wear a princess dress to school.
