This School Board’s New Proposed Dress Code Leaves Many Students Wondering What Can They Wear To School!?

This is getting out of hand

I have a huge issue with school dress codes. Personally, I think common sense should rule when it comes to how one dresses for school, or for anything for that matter, and taking the time to dictate how many finger widths a tank top strap should be, and how long someone’s shorts should be is ridiculous and really only targets girls in our schools. Honestly, I think we can all agree that the thickness of a young girl’s tank top strap or whether her shorts are fingertip length have nothing to do with her ability to get a education and only serves to waste time worrying about clothing that should be spent on education.

Recently, a North Carolina school district sent out a tweet looking for feedback from students and parents alike on a new dress code  proposal targeting skinny jeans and leggings, and the responses have left many girls wondering what the heck they can actually wear to school!

A North Carolina school board is proposing a new dress code that has students and parents very upset.
