Two Young Girls Had Their Lemonade Stand Shut Down

7 and 5-year-old sisters got the boot!

Nothing is more refreshing than a fresh glass of lemonade on a hot, summer day. It seemed like a great way for kids to take advantage of the heat along the Rideau Canal in Ottawa by setting up a lemonade stand.

Eliza Andrews, 7, and her five-year-old set up shop to raise money to go to summer camp. They started selling lemonade, charging $1 a glass, and made $52 in less than two hours!

Way to go girls! But wait… a woman stopped her bike ride to tell the girls and her dad that they were “not allowed” to be there.

Two young girls had their lemonade stand shut down by officials because apparently they didn’t have anything better to do…

Do you think what they did was fair?!
