President Obama is making one major, if not controversial, move in his final months as Commander in Chief.
Several reports say that the Obama administration introduced a new rule that would prevent states from withholding family-planning money for reasons other than a provider’s “ability to deliver services to program beneficiaries in an effective manner.”
The move mandates that state governments can’t deny providers funding just because they offer abortion services.
And while plenty of people are praising President Obama to boldly go where not many politicians have gone before, unsurprisingly, the proposal has plenty of opponents, too.
There’s a new report that says President Obama is protecting planned parenthood funding permanently.
