The co-sleeping debate
When it comes to getting a good night’s rest in our house, I often tell people that my family likes to play musical beds. One day we’re sleeping in our bedrooms, the next day we’re either in the guest room, in each other’s rooms or on the couch downstairs.
Simply put, someone always has an issue in our house. Either the kids have a nightmare, the dog is begging to be taken out in the middle of the night or my husband and I are just so tired from a long day at work that we don’t have the energy to make it upstairs and go to bed the way we should. That’s why I completely understand this one mother who admits that sleeping with her baby rather than her husband not only helped her get a good night’s rest, but made her marriage stronger, too. It might not be for everyone, but for most of us it works and here’s why.
This mom says sleeping with her baby rather than her husband made her marriage stronger.
