She’s a Barbie blogger, too.
Back when I was a wee little girl, I played with Barbies. I had it all: a Barbie dreamhouse, a Barbie dream convertible, plenty of friends for Barbie to play with, a couple of Ken’s, and enough wardrobe pieces to make sure Barbie always looked good whenever I went on play dates with my friends.
But, by the time I was 9 or 10 years old, I decided that Barbie simply wasn’t for me anymore and chopped off all the hair on my Barbie dolls and drew eyeliner and goth-inspired lipstick on them with a permanent marker.
Yet some people live and dream all things Barbie until this day, including one 32-year-old woman from Los Angeles who has spent a whopping amount of money building a shrine to Barbie. The woman, who recently dyed her hair pink and goes by the name Azusa Barbie, insists she’s not trying to be the doll but simply loves the brand.
Um, ok. We believe you.
One woman spends a massive about of money to turn her house into a shrine for Barbie.
