That’s it: no more GoGo Squeez in this house.
While my children have loved the squeezable, easy and convenient GoGo Squeez pouches, the company has had one too many issues with their pouches lately (and as a mother to two children, I’m certainly not taking any chances).
According to Yahoo Parenting on Sunday, their applesauce is under recall in pouches with a best before date between June 30, 2016 and July 26, 2016 and a 5-character production code beginning with the letters US.
A company spokesman says the mold poses no health risk although the mold could affect the product’s taste and appearance.
Even with that being said, I don’t think I’ll be buying these pouches for my children’s school lunches anymore. Mold or no mold, it’s best if they ate real food, no matter how long it will take me to slice, chop, prepare and pack their lunches.
Tell us Hot Moms, do you have GoGo Squeezes in your refrigerator? Will you continue to buy them even after this recall?
