Guy Ritchie ‘hires a lawyer’ in preparation for custody fight with Madonna over their 15-year-old son Rocco

In our family, my husband and I try our best not to play favorites when it comes to our kids. And as hard as we try to be mutual when it comes to our son and daughter, we can’t help but notice that my hubby has more of a soft spot for our daughter while I have the same for our son. I’m sure it’s a classic case of loving daddy’s little girl and mommy’s son but I wouldn’t doubt for a second that a lot of other families go through the same thing.

But when it comes to a child choosing their favorite between you and your partner, could it be a bad thing? Well, it depends on who you ask. The subject matter has been brought up because of recent reports about Madonna and her 15-year-old son, Rocco Ritchie. Apparently, the teenager is trying to cut his mother and her “controlling” ways out of his life as he much prefers to spend time with his father, British director Guy Ritchie in London.

Now, isn’t uncommon behavior when it comes to teenagers. I mean, we’ve all gone through those stages, right? I couldn’t help but notice how much preferring one parent over another is an issue until I read these comments from readers:
