As a former early childhood educator I am not shocked that these chairs exist, but I just can’t believe that they are not antiques and that parents are really buying them!
One seller has lots and lots of comments calling the chairs adorable and inquiring as to how much they are. On Pinterest, there was a ridiculous amount of repins and lots of moms DIY-ing them. Clearly there is a lot of people buying these? Who are they grandma and grandpa?
A timeout chair should not be cute or be sparkly. If you are going to use it, it should be boring and hopefully only used once or twice in a child’s lifetime. The are not going to read and reflect what they are sitting on. They won’t keep it and hope their kids get to use it some day!
What do you think? Would you buy one of these?
