Parenting. It’s one of the toughest jobs in the world, but someone’s gotta do it, and that includes the millions of parents who hope, wish and pray for their children on a daily basis. And even though I’m sure there will be a lot of ups and downs throughout the years, if there’s one promise that I can make to my children, it’s that I will ALWAYS be there for them, no matter what. Otherwise, what’s the point of me being a parent if I can’t support and love them when they need me the most?

With that being said, there’s a new report that says Tom Cruise didn’t show up at his daughter Bella’s wedding last month. From what we know, Bella married her long-term boyfriend Max Parker, who happens to be an IT consultant and NOT associated with the Church of Scientology at all (and as we do know, Tommy Boy is a HUGE Scientologist).

There are conflicting reports that say Tom was there and others that say both parents didn’t show up. Unfortunately Bella’s brother Connor wasn’t there, either. Now, no one really knows what the real reason is behind Tom’s absence, but what parent would purposely skip their child’s wedding ceremony? With all the jitters and nerves that usually go on behind the scenes, you would hope that a child would have both of their parents present, especially if they have the means and money to fly anywhere around the world to do so.

Either way, congratulations to Isabella and Max and regardless of what Isabella’s relationship is with her father these days, I do hope that he’ll be there one way or another to support her.
