Here’s a little secret for you: I’m not a perfect parent. There, I said it. I don’t pretend to know all the rules of parenting, I sometimes don’t even follow the most common ones and more often than not my kids go to bed with dragon breath (a term we use in our house when the kids skip on brushing their teeth) or pavement feet (another term referring to their dirty little feet).
As much as I would LOVE to make sure that my kids get scrubbed up and well fed each and every day, it doesn’t always happen that way. They’re not robots and I’m yet to find a magical button that does everything in my house for me. If I had a 25th hour at my disposal, trust me, I would use it every single day.
With that being said, more and more bloggers are joining the #NoShame parenting movement, in which we admit that hey, life sometimes gets in the way.
