One Woman’s Message That ‘Leggings Ain’t Pants’ Has Quickly Gone Viral

Do you wear leggings? If you do, this Tennessee woman has a message for you and that message is quickly going viral – Leggings Ain’t Pants!

This is a a statement I make at least 3 times a week, when my 13 year old daughter leaves the house in her leggings. Now, for those of you who have teen or tween girls I’m sure you can relate because leggings have become the new yoga pants – they are the only thing my daughter wears. Seriously, every day of the week she wears one of her countless pairs of black leggings and pairs it with a sweatshirt.  But, there are some days when I don’t feel like the sweatshirt is long enough so I hear myself yelling ‘leggings aren’t pants’ at her as she rolls her eyes at me and leaves and for school. Aren’t teenagers fun!?

Personally I don’t wear leggings, maybe because I’m still in my yoga pants phase (that phase will never get old for me) but for those of you who do, this is an important PSA from Jamie Higdon Randolph. Jamie made the video as she was on her way to the  store to buy some new leggings after realizing she couldn’t find her regular leggings.

Jamie loves legging weather but feels that people need to be reminded that leggings ain’t pants.

“If you can’t wear a shirt that covers your tail so that I can’t tell that you got some Aztec-print thongs on, you don’t need to be wearing ’em,”.
