Yesterday I wrote about the tragic loss of young Caleb Logan, the 13 year old star of the hit YouTube family The Bratayley’s. I know many of you questioned how a 13 year old could die of natural causes, as was cited as the cause of death in the announcement the family posted yesterday, and today the parents of young Caleb are providing more answers.
In an Instagram post that was posted today on the official Bratayley page, it was announced that Caleb passed away from an ‘undetected medical condition’.
Caleb's death has raised many questions about how and why this could happen to a seemingly healthy boy. Sadly, tests have confirmed today that Caleb passed away from an undetected medical condition. We'll have more definitive answers in the coming weeks but ask that you help us celebrate his life instead of focus on his death. Due to an outpouring of support and people's hope to be part of his memorial, we have decided to live-stream the ceremony tomorrow at 8pm EDT. Additional information below. Thank you for all your kindness during this difficult time. Find the live-stream at: Periscope = @bratayley Facebook = Facebook.com/bratayley
Authorities spoke to E! News about the situation after they arrived on the scene saying “Responding officers arrived and observed a juvenile male patient suffering from an unknown medical emergency. Fire Department personnel transported the juvenile to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. At this time there are no suspicious factors and/or suspected foul play. The juvenile has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) located in Baltimore, Maryland for an official autopsy. The OCME will determine the final cause and manner of death.”
