Photographer and former Air Service member Tara Ruby decided that she wanted to take this picture of 10 service women breastfeeding their children while in uniform after hearing about a new nursing room at Fort Bliss Army Base in El Paso, Texas. Tara posted the now viral picture to her Facebook page writing ‘Today I believe we made history, she wrote on Facebook. “To my knowledge, a group photo to show support of active duty military mommies nursing their little’s has never been done. It is so nice to see support for this here at Fort Bliss.”
