Rest & Repair: Active Rest; DAY 10

DAY 10: ACTIVE REST

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Today is a day for active rest so that means you should be stretching, hydrating and recovering. It’s important to rest so that your muscles can recover and repair from the week’s workouts.  Tempted to disregard this advice and workout anyway?  Keep in mind that overtraining is a top reason why women quit their workout regimen, so please take this direction to heart and have some much deserved down time today so you can keep up your stamina for this entire challenge.  Some active rest options are:

      1. Go for a walk outside or on a treadmill.
      2. Swim a few slow laps.
      3. Leisurely ride an indoor or outdoor bike.
      4. Run around with your kids
      5. Walk the dog.
