Robert Downey Jr Dresses As Tigger To Make One Small Fan’s Dream Come True

From now on if anyone ever asks you who your favourite Avenger is, the answer will always be Iron Man, because his portrayor Robert Downey Jr. is a true class act. RDJ recently posted a someone funny but seriously heart warming picture of himself dressed in a Tigger the Tiger costume to his Instagram account.

The reason for the picture is truly what makes him so amazing. RDJ wrote the caption as his alter ego Tony Stark and it read ‘Mr. Stark here. This is for Daniel (@envy_coatings) who was having a rough day recently. When I’m in the dumps, I’ve found this little getup to be helpful. P.S. Would you like to come to the LA premiere of Captain America: Civil War as my guest? If so, have your people call my people. All the best.’

Seriously awesome, right? That RDJ would take time out to post this awesome pic and invite a fan to the LA premiere of Captain America: Civil War is pretty cool, but what’s even more awesome is the story behind ‘Daniel’.

Daniel is a7 year old Iron Man fan from the UK who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. Daniel’s mom had just recently shared her own picture to instagram with the hopes of getting Downey’s attention because her son idolizes him and was recently feeling sad because kids at school were being mean.

#cysticfibrosis #myironman #bulliescanthurtme @robertdowneyjr This is my son Daniel and he has cystic fibrosis, he is seven years old and wants nothing more to meet his idol Robert Downey Jr (aka iron man) as he has managed to get past the bullies he faces from day to day by telling them the he too has a extra special port in his chest much like iron man has his arc reactor, I am sharing this in hope that mr stark (as Daniel calls him out of the suit) could find a way to contact me on here as Daniel could really do with a little lift at the moment after a child at school has told him that all children with cf die. If this reaches him and Daniel could get a reply I hope that it could help him through his stay in hospital as it is starting to take its toll on him.

Not only was RDJ’s Tigger photo so incredibly amazing because he simply wanted to make a young fan smile, but then for him to go above and beyone and invite little Daniel to a movie premiere is truly amazing. Obviously to see RDJ’s response to her posting was incredible for Vicky and Daniel, and she’s been so grateful and promises to update her followers with pictures of Daniel and his big adventure getting to meet his hero.

Well done Mr. Downey, you are truly my favourite Avenger!
